Why choose our school?

Students enrolled at Valkyrie State School come from local cattle properties. With this background, it makes the school friendly and welcoming. 

Our school provides a multi-grade, co-educational program from Kindergarten to Year 6 for students in this cattle and farming area.  More than ten families attend Valkyrie State School.

Code of conduct

Valkyrie State School is committed to a policy that supports learning in a secure, respectful, co-operative and optimistic environment.  We recognise and respect individual differences.
Our school fosters a warm, supportive environment where students feel safe and happy and where optimal learning can take place.
Our school community has identified the following school rules to teach and promote our high standards of responsible behaviour:

Our community

Our school is the hub of the local community.

Regional council meetings, Isolated Childrens Parents Association (ICPA) meetings and RAFS playgroups are held at the school along with social gatherings.
